A Note of Thanks

Here's a comment from the Cards for Soldiers Cricut Message Board - always nice to hear from the ones that serve our country!!

"I wanted to take the time to express my gratitude for all that you and your
ladies did to brighten our holidays. It always means a lot to receive mail
from those that we serve, but it means something more to receive it at this time
of year. Not being able to be home for the holidays is always hard and
your kind gesture has definitely touched many. Being able to see the
smiles that your cards brought to the faces of those that read them was truly a
wonderful thing and I thank you for the time and effort. Thank you for
your hard work and support.

Wishing you and your team Happy Holidays,

Jeffrey"

Baby name banner and card

My family is helping host a surprize baby shower the day after Thanksgiving (I know... crazzzy!). I just finished the name banner that will hang on the sliding glass door and then be giving to the proud new parents. I also made a card to match... what do you think? I WAS going to add some Stickles but then stopped myself because boys don't need bling!!

QUICK Thanksgiving Wreath

Let me stress the word "QUICK" wreath. I had so many things in mind for this wreath but ran out of time and just had to finish the project and get it hung before guests start arriving! I used Wild Card for the leaves and Happy Thanksgiving. Of course I added some Stickles to add some sparkle and used a bone folder to curl the ends of the leaves. I didn't have a wreath base to work from and used an old piece of card stock cover board.

Yes I should have used pop-dots to add dimension but I did the best I could at a very late (or should I say early morning) project! Let me know what you think...

Updated Mommy Bracelet

I made this "Mommy Bracelet" a few years ago for a co-workers wife. Now she's have another baby on 11/23 (my anniversary!). I converted the single bracelet to a double and it came out really nice!

Baby card

I made this card last night for my mom to send to a friend that just had a baby boy. I thought of adding the safety pin at the last moment - wish I had an old diaper pin - don't even know where I would find one now!

Cards for Soldiers

Here's a sample of the cards I'm currently working on. These will be sent to a Cricut Message Board Contact to be mailed to soldiers for Christmas. Believe it or not some soldiers don't get mail and these cards are distributed to those who don't have anything at "mail call".

Hello and thanks Cricut Card Fairies!

Here are the cards my husbum (his self-imposed nick-name) received from Mission 444. Funny thing... received the stripped (green/pink) "Get Well Soon" card from Medina, OH and Hilton, NY - do you ladies know each other?!
